1- PHARMACOLOGY:
It is an indazole derivative, it is a base rather than an acid. Those properties are suitable to treat inflammatory conditions in the mouth and throat.
DE FLAM possesses the following pharmacological properties:
Anti-inflammatory and analgesic: It penetrates the oral mucosa, concentrates in the inflamed tissue and exerts rapidly its anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions at the site of pain.
2- INDICATIONS:
DE FLAM is used in the following cases:
- Treatment of a broad range of the throat and mouth inflammatory disorders (aphthosis-ulcerations).
- Treatment of oral lesions after chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgical procedures.
- After dental therapy and surgery.
3- CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Not known.
- Safe in children.
4- PRECAUTIONS:
If stinging occurs, the solution may be diluted with water (1:1).
Avoid eyes contact.
5- SIDE EFFECTS:
Oral tissue numbness or stinging sensation may occur.
6- DOSAGE & ADMINISTARTION:
Rinse or gargle with 15 mL (1 tablespoon) for 20 – 30 seconds every 1.5 to 3 hours as required for pain relief.
7- PACKAGING & COMPOSITION:
DE FLAM - Oral Rinse: A pack of glass bottle of 100 mL containing Bezydamine HCl solution 0.15% (w/v).
8- STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Store DE FLAM - Oral Rinse at temperature below 30°C.
